RSi was founded by Rand Mark Manasse in 1979, long before the
personal computer revolution began. In the beginning, our
services focused on the needs of middle market companies who had
invested in Data General hardware and software. In those days, we
supported distributor's and end-user's sites running minicomputer
software from MCBA.
As the personal computer marketplace developed, RSi expanded into
this area, building relationships with business applications
leaders like Macola Software, Great Plains Software, Novell and
Microsoft. To help bring the personal computer marketplace to the average
business, high quality networks needed to be installed and therefore network hardware companies like
Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and others were developed. Over the years, our firm has
installed business solutions in over 600 companies.
Today, the RSi Staff offer a unique breadth of business expertise and
systems knowledge. Our "off-the-shelf" core business
offerings, Great Plains Dynamics and
Macola Progression Series and their associated suite of independently
developed integrated electronic commerce, service, bar coding,
job costing applications and more provide the backbone for
automating middle market businesses from $5-500 million.
